The balance in this current Man United team doesn't look right. Cristiano Ronaldo's departure has undoubtedly weakened the side, but the other players also seem jaded. Some like Rio Ferdinand seem out of sorts, but 30 seems too young an age for a defender to be on the decline. Edwin Van Der Sar also seems to have lost the commanding presence & confidence that he instilled in his backline; age seems to have caught up with him at last.
