KABUL: Afghan President Hamid Karzai vowed yesterday that his new government would eradicate corruption and offered an olive branch to Taleban insurgents, launching his programme for another five years in office.
the taliban ruled afghanistan with guns and drugs. it will not be easy for them to adapt to western styled democracy. despite that along with other minor tribal representatives the taliban should not be sidelined in the formation of the new government.

The election which he won was full of fraud, as witnessed by international observers there. If he really wants to eradicate corruption in Afghanistan, he might want to start with himself first.
historically it is a country of autonomous and territorial tribal rule. their GDP had been powered by opium. it's best to stand from outside and monitor.
