BEIJING: China's police chief has called for a comprehensive security system that also covers the Web, in rare remarks that signal not only more government attention to online opinion but also stricter control.

Does this mean that those who work in China cannot post criticisms against the CCP? If they do, they risk being put in jail like what happened to Chin Chong?

As a guest worker critizing the ruling party is not a good idea. Slandering and inctiting hatred against the ruling party is definitely not acceptable anyway in the world.

Accepting financial reward for writing from non-resident / overseas/ nonlocal foundation to write about China or any country would raise eyebrow and in some instances the host government would want to investigate.

A certain teritary institution in a certain red dot in Asia did not extend the work of some foreign academics for publishing work relating to some worker issue in their host country that was deem to be incorrect.

So guest workers have to know how far they are stepping into things in any country.

kjks, yeah, tell me about it. I know how much 'free speech' is 'allowed' in China.
