My Goodness! How foolish we Singaporeans can be!

China's higher education is of poor-quality. Yet, we are sending our young to that country to receive this 'poor-quality' education.

Good luck to our scholars who have chosen to study in China!

Finally. There was this report on school losing student's graduation certification yet nobody can do anything- even to come out with another piece is not possible. This kind of story unbelievable esp when it came frm the world's 3rd largest economy.

our education system is helmed by bureaucrats, not educators.

The expectation of Chinese people has gone up and it is a good thing that the Chinese government is willing to make changes. Seems that they felt that a US-educated minister could lead the right moves, well the expectation was not met.

Wonder what happened to the Singapore education system with the BoomZ and Lionese prince.

Interestingly the very rich Indonesian and Thais are sending their kids to Chinese universities these days and perhaps an MBA in the US later.......the not so rich still hang out in Singapore.

One should look beyond "news" to really know what is happening.
