PM on cost concerns, rising expectations
November 02, 2009 Monday, 03:50 AM

THE Government is aware of public concerns over issues such as the cost of living, pricier HDB flats and the problems faced by those described as the sandwiched class, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said yesterday.

When you raise cost of living and services.. Expectation will rise also proportionately..

There is no such thing as raising cost of living withot raising the cost of expectation.

After alll MM says " Nothing is for free".

We expect get get VALUE for what we pay for. not the same standards of service or goods like before when prices of things go up..

So be prepared to work much harder than before..

Being AWARE is not good enough.

Neither is acknowleging that there is a problem good enough.

It does not solve any problem by being AWARE.. It is just pure lip service.

It is the INACTION and the altitude towards resolving these problems as quickly as they arise that is important.

Not to wait until election is near before all the "WAYANG WAYANG" takes place, just to pacify us..

How can our ministers identify with the problems faced by the common man? Our leaders stay in expensive landed properties, drive luxurious cars, eat at the finest restaurants & do not know the meaning of overcrowding or hardship?

I am never in favour of changing managers during the course of a season. The disruption & uncertainty will only cause Liverpool to drop more points.

Even Kenny Dalglish cannot replicate his past successes with the Reds, if given the reins now. Where can he find the greats such as Graeme Souness, Terry McDermott, Ian Rush, John Barnes, Peter Beardsley, Steve McMahon, Alan Hansen, Mark Lawrenson, Alan Kennedy, & most of all, another King Kenny on the field, to make Liverpool great again?

To show the PM's sincerely First Reduce GST on all basic necessities
Reduce Transport charges Reduce PUB charges Reduce medical charges
All these companies holding monopolies are highly profitable.
To cope up you can increase FW 's levies on FW, SP and EP.
You can also increase CPF contribution on PR
Do not always suck the Singaporeans try sucking the Foreign talents.
