FOR the Singapore traveller, making a beeline for the United States for Christmas shopping may make dollars and sense.

There is no doubt that cash rich nations such as PRC and the Gulf oil states are seeking ways to diversify out of the USD. The move will take decades but the impact on sentiment and demand for USD is already being felt in the exchange rates.

What will replace the USD is one reason why the transition will take time - there is no clear replacement currency.

the strength of the dollar is reflecting the state of it's economy while the yuan is grossly undervalued.

Who is the moron who wrote this article? The dollar is dead. It is now still the medium of exchange but the writer obviously has not been observant of the trends. He either is not the sharpest tool in the shed of hes just a shill for the dollar.

Ask yourself..

Why does the US has the highest GOLD Reserves than any country in the world in its entire history ?

Why does it has the lowest currency reserves,... if there is any left ?

Why is GOLD creeping up , when stock market and economy is turning round ?

If you know the answer , you should know where we are heading ....
