January 29, 2009 Thursday, 11:10 AM

SINGAPORE'S DBS Group , Southeast Asia's biggest bank, said on Thursday that Chief Executive Richard Stanley, who was hired in May last year, is suffering from cancer.
Koh Boon Hwee, the bank's chairman, will assume an 'active management oversight role' during the absence of Mr Stanley, who is taking three to six months of medical leave, the bank said in a statement.

Very sad.

If humans do not respect the Divine Principles of Cause and Effect, mankind will continue to suffer [compensatory phenomenon will manifest] unendlingly and there will be no solution in sight for mankind no matter who you are.

There will be all kinds of sufferings, all kinds of chronic illnesses affecting both humans and all kinds of living things alike due to the mess and pollution on earth created by manikind.

Nature is originally pure and healthy until man pollutes and mess it up. Nature [the Unseeen has to react out of Great Love] has to intervene to get it cleaned up to restore it to healthy condition. It is the same for a polluted human body. The Unseen from inside has to intervene to clean it up to save the host.

Please read the book on the chain effect of suffering of all living things in the book "Silent Spring" by Dr Rachel Carson.

some people will inveitably link the illness to the staff retrenchment or the DBS high notes saga.

My thoughts and well wishes go out to Richard Stanley and his family. Although the DBS retrenchment was ill timed and bad taste, it certainly has nothing to do with his current state of health. I'd like to wish him a speedy recovery and good health soon.

Cancer

The Cause is not short term of a few months.

How many humans [including their beliefs and religions] know the Cause and Effect Divine Principles well enough, and know how to respect the DPs and not trample on it?

If he ever recover from this illness,he'll probably think of what he'd done in the past. This could be retribution of his actions not only the recent retrenchment fiasco, could had been more than this.Hope that he will come thru' this ordeal and repent on his misdeeds if he ever had any?
GOD bless Richard Stanley will recover from this illness and to lead a normal life thereafter.
