Actor Chew Chor Meng already has great difficulty climbing stairs and he struggles to lift his four-year-old daughter. Soon, he may even lose his ability to walk.

Just a word of encouragement to Chew Chor Meng and his family. May God bless all of you in this time of difficulty. God is in control. "Fear not for I am with thee". It is certainly hard to be diagnosed with something that's incurable. But I hope that you will take courage and comfort from your fans and friends , and most of all from God ! And continue to be a blessing to people around you and be blessed !!

May God bless you and that you and your family find the strength to continue your life. As you had said, you should look forward to your daughters' growing years, and show them a fine example of being a hero and man of exceptional strength and faith! We'll all be praying for you!

Chor Meng, one door closes, another one opens. Your effect on people, as manifested by your shows, is God's gift to you. Your physical limitation can only be limited if you let it. The choice is yours, to sit and wallow or use your God-gifted talent to inspire, move and change those around you for the better. Perhaps your limited physicality is just to make way for a keener mind and clearer thoughts. There is a reason for everything and in time, you will see the mystery unfolding and the miracle manifesting. Stay strong, stay clear. Your body is merely a carrier of a soul that cannot be defeated. You know what I mean.

Hey Chor Meng, don't be depressed by what you see is happening. Every cloud has it's silver lining and there is always something positive in every adversity. Although this news is devastating to you, you may also realize on a daily basis there are also a lot of human being out there in suffering or needs help. Relatively speaking, you may be in much better situation than them. Have faith and miracles do happen. Make use of the time you have on hand right now to do more good and learn how to let everything go.

Your response in a time like this is indeed a good testimony to many. Do not be discouraged, bro. Learn to lean on God's strength and claim the victory He has promised for us. Remember Romans 8:28-39. Still focus on the things above and run the good race for the glory of our God. Amen

Dear Chor Meng,
Life must move on . Do not let your illness control your life.
I really admire Professor Stephen Hawking because despite his adversity, he stands tall (in fact very tall ) in his area of specialisation.
I cannot agree more with what BobbyLiu has written. Look at what new door(s) will open for you despite your medical condition.
Singaporeans and your fans will look forward to hearing from you in the years to come.
