We'll get him one day

SINGAPORE does not know if fugutive terrorist Mas Selamat Kastari, the country's most wanted man, is still in the country more than nine months after he escaped from detention, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said on Friday.
The leader of the Singapore Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) militant group escaped on Feb 27 from a maximum-security detention centre. The incident badly dented Singapore's reputation for tight security.

Accountability, my foot! All the preaching, zero practice. Shocking as it is, some Singaporeans are angrier with Nair for some silly words (comments in the other DB) than these top guns letting slip of something so important (this concerns our safety and lives). What a messed up society.

LHL asked, "What's the lesson out of this?"

Answer:Our mini-stars draw multi-million dollar salary, but is not held accountable like a top earner in the private sector!!!

Our mini-stars conveniently ignored the fact that Indian Home Minister resigned to claim responsibility for the Mumbai terrorist attack. That is the only morally right thing to do.

Read this great article from theonlinecitizen.

WKS has done nothing to relief the misery of both causeways users (Sporeans & Visitors, in and out). Feb 28, Mas Selamat escaped ... many theories behind this escape. Is Dec 05, how many months u can count. WKS simply says - I am sorry.

My 4 year old son also can do that. But my 15 year old son probably can even look into how this security screening at both Tuas & Woodlands can be better managed. Yes u finger print scan, fine .... how many PCs were used at each crossing? Especially weekend early hours? How many lanes remain un-opened? Wats the use when SGP spent so much in having such a big/lovely ICQ complex and only to see 3-4 lanes open on weekends AM? WKS and Director of ICQ, I wonder if they do pay a visit and check them out in the early 6-7 am mornings weekends. If our Senior Minister can bother to go to MOS (Ministry of Sound) on a Sat wee hours to feel the ground and understand what makes MOS tick - i think WKS and senior staff better take a look at Tuas & Woodlands crossings weekends AM. It is madness, total frustation and extremely embarrasing for SGP if these users are tourists coming in or going out.

All i can say is also ........... I AM SORRY - that i have to write to this forum on WKS & Senior Staff of ICQ
