My own personal experience after a "preview" at one Yoga Centre in Raffles Place, is good as a form of exercise for stretching and flexibilty especially if you are a senior/old sportman(in my case is golf and especially after hitting thousands of balls on the practice range) who need to compensate for loosening up those opposing sets of muscle/joints. However I'm put off by their sales tactic and statues of idols of elephant head in an eerie settings at the entrance and various dark corners. Quickly excused myself and made an exit.

"...statues of idols of elephant head in an eerie settings..."

知见立知为无名本!

When I returned from trips to India, I bought these idols for friends as gift. It brings good fortune.

Elephants in the Zoo do not make you feel eerie right?

Will statues of idols of elephant make you feel eerie?

What have you bought into your mind?

Every one is entitled to his or her belief, and in my case I don't worship elephant head on human form. Subject closed.

泰山不让土壤,故能成其大;河海不择细流,故能就其深。

lee_kum_wah #5,

Hope that your belief would not make you too narrow minded.

One way to help reduce controversy is to introduce a new word - 'syoga' to mean secular yoga, and 'myoga' to mean yoga customised for muslims.

Good fortune? If their fortune is linked to most of India today, I suggest you get a refund for the statutes.

And who exactly worships people with wings? You?
