Such needless loss of lives. I hope Singapore's hotels have strong anti-terrorist tactics in place.

So sad... :"(

My Singaporean colleagues and I in Shanghai were still discussing about this issue this morning and we were praying for the safe return of the Singaporean hostage...

My condolences to her family...

We live in a world where we cannot say what we believe or think what we feel any longer. Late modernity has crushed the human propensity for life. Technology makes life efficient even if it means taking it away.

Dearest Ms Lo Hoei Yen,
When i heard e news tis evening
i felt something, i dunno what
Now that i've just seen ur pic
that puts a face to ur name
I now know exactly what I feel
a deep sense of grief, sadness
You look like a typical Singaporean gal
I may have seen around Holland V
its very easy to see you
as one of my Singaporean sisters
Whose precious Life gone too soon
Please Rest In Peace
May God Bless Your Soul.
