I would like to urge the Indian police and government to restrain itself. In my opinion, those were not gunmen. They were 'peaceful protesters'. Shame on India in cracking down on peaceful protesters!!!!

Heard from friends in india, groups carrying guns automatic and pistols, stormed the hotels, started shooting and even currently there are explosions being heard in the hotel.

'They' are only teaching 'us' a lesson for the wrongs 'we' have committed on 'them'.

Time for australia to wake up and restrict these ppl from entering australia shores. Very soon we might see ppl with similiar ideology in australia who will target australia as it happened in UK.

At the moment we do not know what the protesters wanted. By now the State Government concerned would know whether they are for money or for other political rights. Since this has happened in India who would pay the ransom money for citizens of other countries. Malaysia paid for the release of two ships from international waters in Somalia. International Law experts could enlighten us.

Im surprise that such synchronised large scale attacks can be carried out in the heart of the largest city under the nose of the government. What have their intelligence unit been doing???
