We have matured to really able to learn as a team to benefit as humankind, beyong the nationality. It is not just "We have to....." but "We want to be Healthy and Wealthy together as ONE People in ROS! WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER!!!!

Food for thought: How many times we fought "fire" without actually tackling the root causes of the problem?
There is a Chinese saying: (translated) if you want to get rid of weed, you have to get rid of the roots. If you do not get rid of the roots, when spring comes again and the wind blows, the weed will blossom once more. http://theinnozablog.blogspot.com

This saying reminds us to address the root causes of problems. Sometimes the root is inside us, not outside far away from ourselves. (smile)

Shanmugam stated the truth w/o foreign workers we will not have sufficient workers to do what the locals can't or won't do. If you don't let them in and take care of them how are your estates going to be built or cleaned...? Be grateful and humane towards them as they help our economy to grow and function - We should not unload our pitch dark comments and treat them as sub human and suck up to the angmoh only hor..... Remember you grandpa and or great grandpa arrived on our shores with nothing and built up Spore

Beyond stating the facts, and while many will agreed with Shanmugam, the PAP government needs to do more to assured Singaporeans that they will not be sidelined. Once this is done, then there will be no such feelings and emotions.

To feel threatened is part of a human's natural instinct

And who was the journalist who filed the report?

It's none other than Kimberly Spykerman!!!!

If you follow her reports, you may notice that she dosen't have very positive things to say about the citizens of Singapore.

Anyone knows whether Kimberly is a Singapore citizen, or one of those ugly foreigners who are here to earn their living (many can't even land a job in their own homeland) but think they are so righteous that they can impose their opinions and views on us???

Hah, when I read the report yesterday, I made a mental note who was the journalist. But I wanted to give her the benefit of doubt.

Now it's clear as day...
