October 09, 2008 Thursday, 08:05 AM

I AM writing with regards to the Serangoon Gardens (SG) saga concerning the worker's dormitory. I am fully aware that much has already been said about the issue, however I would like to highlight one point that many people have failed to see even till now.

#2, sad but true isn't it. Just when we think LTA is through with building more ERP gantries, I just saw contruction outside my place by LTA digging up the road and causing more traffic jams. And what was tt for - they are going to build a new gantry here ! Goodness, when is RL going to stop his bl__d _ucking.

Blood sucking is our national pastime. LTA, Singapore Power and Singtel all on the bandwagon.

Daniel Law,is it a blessing in disguise to you? Are you applepolishing the govt? I suggest that you are likely a bloodsucking manpower agent. Let these workers stay in your house la.

There we go again. Xenophobes are on the loose again. by the way, the only solution is to do away with these foreign workers and pass the jobs to singaporeans. Any takers? are any singaporean employers who are willing to pay more to employ locals?

Dear Daniel Law, let me repeat here what I had said in another thread. The main complaint was traffic and overcrowding in the dormitory itself turning it into a slum. These issues are ignored because non-residents are more interested to take the high moral ground, completely ignore the facts and debate about crime, attitudes etc.The overcrowding issue has been addressed, the traffic issue however needs more time to resolve.

One interesting question. What will the reaction be if the proposed FW's dorm housing 1600 workers build at district 9 or 10??

maybe can consider following the example of the proposed new link from Sentosa to the mainland - built a tunnel.

No putt intended, lunch time humour, hope all have a nice day!
