Malaysia and singapore different systems. There is difference is governance language in systems. Malaysia system is ruled post british malaya systems evolution change, while singapore systems had its own special british evolution change systems, where governance language remained changed to english from start to present. The difference is just language of administration choice. English administered region singapore, have more advantage in business upward mobile excellence via good english, good port and good airport. Mastery of both languages is the key to business excellence.

It is good news to hear that Anwar has won the elections by a huge margin. After the shabby way he was treated by the government, he deserves to win. That he has managed such a successful comeback testifies to his political skills and tenacity.

But the road ahead for him and his coalition is filled with minefields placed not by the members of the BN but by the disparate policies of the various component parties that make up the PKR itself. The biggest obstacle is obviously attempting to promote some kind of multi-racialism without provoking an adverse reaction from the Malays who have gotten so used to the privileges granted to them under the New Economic Policy. The other explosive is the difficulty in reconciling the non-religious outlook of the DAP with the obviously Islamic state ambitions of the PAS.

If Anwar does indeed manage to emerge triumphant in spite of all these problems, he could possibly be Malaysia's greatest PM ever.

Anwar will be sworn in today. I hope that he will lead the charge of Theodemocracy in the best manner possible. This will mean the following
Sultans to be mere Constituitional rulers without real power. They represent the culture and the history of Malaysia.
Affirmative action to redress illiteracy and impoverishment will be for all Malaysians irrespective of race or religion.
Gap between rich and poor will be narrowed.
Contemporisation of Islamic laws
No Islamic State terms as no such thing in Quran and Hadith
Non Muslims not subject to Islamic Law
Muslim Family Law will be contemporarised.
End of I.S.A and arrests without trial
Life long education to be infused with Universal Values with Interfaith Dimension
All out battle against corruption, crime, insecurity and disease
Wholesome Human Rights to be clothed with Human Duties

as reported, at the swearing in ceremony of anwar at the federal parliament this morning, the pm abdullah, dpm najib and other minister were absent...quite conspicuous.

it is a bad omen for umno and bn...it will soon see them as permanently out of the parliament chamber when they are no longer in power.

it is poor behaviour of a sore loser by being absent when an opponent appears.

umno and bn surely won't last any longer, judging from what is happening

I doubt many people care who are present, as long as the ceremony is conducted. The stuff delivered by both sides later is more important.

Not all BN and Umno ministers are bad. I suppose several will be retained if PR forms the government. Nazri, Shahrir and Weng1 Shi1 Jie2 should be in the list, in my opinion.
