A big let off for a crook. Past achievements cannot atone for heinous crimes. If Durai had not built NKF, he would have been unable to enrich himself the way he wrongly did. This is a classical case of self-serving justification.

And Ms Chee cannot travel overseas just for awhile and has to apply all the way to court for approval ? Are we wasting valuable resources just bec she is a marked person in the eye of the PM etc ?

Yes he built the biggest charity, he deserves credit but he is only a trustee of the funds. Trust is bestowed on trustee to act in the best interest of the very people who helped build the fund. Justice must prevail for one and ALL.
