I thank some of you who emailed me at stdb_chat@yahoo.com.sg to bring the chat and issues [OB not related to the thread] to be discussed in private outside this DB. I shall respond from yahoo.
The govt should use a crane to scoop up all those cars waiting by the left lane along Shenton Way every weekday evening, just before Fullerton Hotel, & dump them into the sea! These drivers are the real culprits who cause the traffic jams, which led the LTA to construct that gantry outside of the hotel.
Just get the Traffic Police to patrol the vicinity, & you will see smoother traffic. That left lane is completely unpassable to traffic from Monday to Friday evenings, because of those cars waiting to pick up their other halves from the nearby office buildings.
No lah, Jack Neo have not got the gut to throw ERP gantry into the sea, all he did was using the word EPR instead, and stated Every Price Rise.
