Of all the leader in the world, BUSH has the least moral ground to preach to any country about human right after leading USA into a needless war in Iraq which have over 3,000 US soldiers and 100,000 Iraqis killed.

The 3000 were killed not during the invasion but after when the conquerors entered and camped in Iraq.

Bush did not wish to and could not hand the power to a UN-led force to take over. He went ahead with the invasion against the UN. He wants the oil.

The 3000 and more will continue to die in Iraq until final pull out of US forces from that country.

Western countries and their leaders are not the final arbiters of what is good about china modernisation program. Sometimes a country has to go through a phase where individual rights are curtailed for the good of the majority. China has achieved great changes in the last 30 years. The chinese people are more interested in making sure that their country is prosperous and modern and not westernise.

Bush, of all the person to criticise China on human rights. He ought to look at his own backward where so-called terrorist suspects are being held in Guantanamo Bay for years without trial. He would have more creditability if he had simply shut up and enjoy the Olympics.

US's military campaign against Iraq is only for her "black gold." Oil that is. Exxon and Chevron has moved into Iraq. US incites wars to make money from sale of arms. Uncle Sam is a bad guy.

Good point. After all, black slavery in the US lasted many generations before it was finally abolished. Even then the blacks are still being marginalised. Likewise, for many of the new migrants who are not whites. Need to take their so-called advocacy for human rights with a pinch of salt.

USA made a solicitous remark to encourgae china to be open and fair in handling of human rights issue.
USA is the big brother of the world.
They are showing china the way and hope china would not make any hasty decisions that cause small matters may escalate into major issues.
USA always handle things in an astute and judicious manner.

Are you an American? Or a sycophant for America? I can't believe my eyes reading those words. Utter nonsense!
