Enough is enough. No other child should die.

when children are killed - this is what they are more concerned about -"two point or three point seat belts cheaper or structurally more difficult to install"; or the ex-minister who said `installing seat belts could mean higher fares and reduced seating capacity in buses - as if the two factors mean more than saving a child's life ! Are these the main issues?

It is long overdue, a U-turn that we can see MOT and LTA are good at until the message is on the wall by no choice. Their intransigent stand on U-turns must come by no choice but to act reluctantly.

See the number of U-turn cases despite the feedbacks but they were intransigent and reluctant to the very end of the line:

1. Not opening the MRT to the disabled despite many years' of appeal.
They hacked up and open up. What a mess.

2. The sliding doors to stop the jumping deaths on surface MRT stations despite many appeals, which were rejected with all kinds of absurb excuses, eg.. commuters want to die will climb over it and jump! shocking excuses.
The sliding doors will be fixed over 3 years from next year. Slow and steady not to lose face to the reluctant U-turn to get it fixed.

3. Road curbs fixed on the white line to prevent waiting and holding up traffic.
It was done at Mt Elizabeth Road but not fullly completed to stop it. If they fixed and sealed up all the openings on that road, the problem is solved. But they refused to do so for the sake of business along that road. Who is wasting more time, the business or the cops trying to catch the drivers wating holding up traffic?
Many traffic junctions have the curbs now and it works but still there are many yet to be fixed.

4. Bollards at bus stops to prevent deaths by runaway vehicles.
It was fixed slow and steady and not all busy bus stops have the bollards up till now. MOT and LTA have better things to do and this U-turn on the bollards was a reluctant decision. They quietly fixed them to save face.

Many more reluctant U-turns [e.g. stop at 2, casino, F1 etc] , cannot recall all of them.

Anyone care to add on the list above with more examples of MIWs' reluctant u-turns?

Who dare say the MIWs and the government do not listen and act?

The above examples showed they did but many cases reluctantly, no choice.

The public feedback must not stop.

This ST DB is one good avenue to wear them down with feedback relentlessly to get the message squarely down on them.

The Mas fiasco showed it too. They talked about it in Parliament. Part of it wass yapa Wayang of $13000 each. Pitiful.

Even a drop of water can wear down a rock over time. Persistently applied it will make a dent.

It applies to feedback too when applied consistently. It is RWYS.

When GP and RWYS are applied and repeatedly, it can be seen it works on the soul and mind too of many in this DB. It has not been in vain. Some quoted RWYS sometime. Some say: I sincerely hope.......

I like it. I love it. It reaches the eyes and enters the soul and body. It cannot be reversed. It has sunk in A dent has been made on the soul and mind. It moves the body. It is the Trinity.

Wake up, please!!! ..... they are indeed "shortsighted" when elected ..... now, with the untimely death of this young boy ....everybody is talking about it and they immediately want to "push' through this proposal in Parliament .......a "testimonial" of their "good work" indeed!!! .... ha..ha..ha..

Only when death occurs then the MPs start acting. Now there are so many cyclists and motorcylists cycling on the pathment; must they wait for a fatal accident before they start acting too????
